About Thompson River Mapping
Thompson River Mapping was established in 2007 by owner Mitch Krupp.
Mitch has been working as a GIS Analyst since 1988 and was one of the original pioneers in using GIS in British Columbia. He has completed hundreds of GIS projects varying in size and complexity from small one day undertakings to major projects spanning the entire province of BC and to projects as far away as Hanoi.
In addition to doing GIS work Mitch has been teaching GIS since 1998. He developed and taught the Advanced GIS Certificate program at Okanagan College and has developed and taught many introductory GIS programs. Mitch has travelled throughout BC to numerous communities, including a large number of First Nations communities, providing GIS training and GIS services to help groups establish a successful GIS.
